SPORTS Komphela wants to finish season on a high

SPORTS Komphela wants to finish season on a high Chiefs have already surrendered their league title this season, with Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits fighting it out for the championship.  “We are going into this game looking at finishing on a high,” said Komphela. “We remain focused and dedicated to finishing on a high note to give us a lead going into the next season. The players are aware of what is at stake,” he said. “We have to go for three points and at the same time respect Tuks as the opponents.”     Tuks, under coach Shaun Bartlett, are fighting to stay clear of the relegation zone and have been doing well. “You can see a change and a new energy in their team since Shaun (Bartlett) took over. We will be aware of the danger they pose but, we will use our strength to overpower them,” Komphela said.     Komphela revealed that Camaldine Abraw has been ruled out with a knee injury and William Twala is suspended. “Abraw sustained the injury in training and Twala has accumulated four yellow cards,” said Komphela. "The good news is that Reneilwe Letsholonyane is back in the squad and will be available for selection.”   Amakhosi go into the match occupying position four on the log with 41 points while Tuks occupy 14th spot with 21 points. Both teams have played 25 matches. Goals from Bernard Parker for Chiefs and Tebogo Monyai for Tuks saw the points shared in the first round of this fixture played at the FNB Stadium in September last year.
